Vividhlaxi Audyogik Samshodhan Vikas Kendra (VASVIK) multipurpose industrial research promotion center was founded in 1983 and inaugurated by Dr.S.D Sharma, Governor of Maharashtra, to contribute towards research and strengthen the efforts being made in the field. VASVIK research Wing comprises of following departments

  • Lupin Pharmacology Laboratory
  • Lyka Pharmacogonosy Laboratory
  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry Research Laboratory funded by Ministry of HRD

PATEL EXTRUSION BIO-AVAILABILITY CENTER

Dr.Vasant Gowarikar, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Science and Technology, inaugurated bioavailability center on April 2, 1993. BCP has a state of the art bio-availability study center approved by Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) Center has separate volunteers of 15 beds with all modern amenities

DR.M.K RANGNEKAR MEMORIAL DRUG TESTING AND TRAINING.

Dr. M.K Rangnekar Memorial drugs Testing and Training Laboratory was inaugurated by Dr. Raymond Dickinson Dy. Secretary of Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain on Aug.1988.The laboratory is recognized by the FDA - Maharashtra State and house sophisticated instruments like FT IR,HPLC,GLC .DSC particle analyzer etc equipments.

THE RESEARCH SOCIETY OF THE BOMBAY COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

The research Society of BCP is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The primary objective of the society is to promote, Organize, sponsor, establish, conduct and encourage research in pharmaceutical and allied sciences at BCP .The society has undertaken and completed numerous sponsored research projects

Academy of Pharmaceutical Management

A Post graduate diploma in Pharmaceutical Management has been started by Bombay College of Pharmacy in association with Prescription Pharma Support. This four semester course (2 year) is unique in that in the Second year of study, the students can specialize in Product Management or Technical Management. Forthcoming Diploma and Certificate Courses

In partnership with Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology, Toronto, Canada, two post graduation courses in 1. Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs & Quality Operations (RAQC) and 2. Bioinformatics (BIF) have been initiated.

The RAQC program is intended to provide students with a basic understanding of the areas of regulatory affairs and quality operations. Students will be prepared for occupations involving drug or medical device submissions and quality assurance functions and roles. The issues of regulatory compliance both in Canada and in other areas of the world will be dealt with.

In BIF students will learn how raw sequence data from genome sequencing projects can be used to generate information about gene function, protein structure, molecular evolution, drug targets, and disease mechanisms.  Students will also be trained in the application of computer technology to the management of biological information.

A certificate course in the principles of Pharmaceutical Engineering in collaboration with the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) is also being planned.
